It should, and if it doesn't, the guys on the FDRS thread are quick to help if you post your issue. Since you got time before my Mongoose will get to you, I suggest you start following it from now so you can get familiar with the issues people new to FDRS come across. It is not as intimidating as it looks.

Yes, actually I was going to message you today anyway. I have ordered the Mongoose and it should be here by Wednesday. I have powered through the FDRS thread hitting on the highlights and lowlights. So if nothing comes up I plan on starting at the crack of dawn on Saturday and see where I get. So on that note you can take me off your waiting list and thanks again for adding me. If it goes well I might even add mine to the loaner program to help others out.

You're good to go. 4.2.3 installed 2 days ago, so if your truck follows the trend, then you should be getting 4.2.4 very soon.

@JEB This truck got 22-PU1010-MIL-QL, and it's a Platinum PB. So much for my theory that update was only for Raptors/Tremors. Maybe 22-PU1010-MIL-LT is the one they get. I'll keep my eyes peeled.

You're good to go. 4.2.3 installed 2 days ago, so if your truck follows the trend, then you should be getting 4.2.4 very soon.

Nothing has been sent to your truck since 2.7.3 back in April. Your truck is far behind on updates and those older updates do not get pushed out frequently. Just be happy you are getting updates (even if they're coming in slow) and your truck is not stuck in OTA limbo like has happened to many 2021 owners.

That’s interesting. I didn’t know that. Ford’s submission to NHTSA last November for MIL-QL mentioned PCM only for non-PBs and PCM and ABS for PBs. https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2022/MC-10227492-0001.pdf. I wonder if they added some clean up updates for other modules (BECM, SOBDMC) that hadn’t yet been updated.

Ok, I've just gotten off the phone with my dealership and they let me know that my truck is updated and ready to pick up. From the printout, it looks like the BECM software at F188 didn’t change and it’s the same software I have. I updated my BECM awhile ago (prior to March of last year). Not sure what was actually updated here. It also looks like the ABS at 10A didn’t change for this truck but I think it’s a hardware spec and I wouldn’t expect it to. It’s different from mine but the ABS software at F188 is the same as mine. I updated mine in December. The other software (PCM and SOBDMC at F188) are quite a bit different. These differences might be because the PTS printout is for a ‘22. I have a ‘21. I updated both my SOBDMC and PCM in November.

So, still have a few questions. PU1010 might affect vehicles differently depending on the year and how updated it already was when this update was distributed.

Not that I know of. I never made an excel for that one to track it because I didn't know how rare it would be and didn't know there would be multiple versions. I'm tracking it now, but I've only seen 3 trucks that got it since I started doing it.
