@rugedraw (or anyone with PTS access) can you see if 4.2.4 actually installed on my truck? It has been in update details on Sync for 2-3 days, but I've gotten nothing in FordPass and Securalert is also still an option in the app. I also never saw an update checkmark in Sync, so I don't know if it's sitting in limbo or not.

Morning Javier (@rugedraw) my truck updated to 4.2.4 on the 1st. Is 4.3.2 sitting in my near future? If so I will start connecting my charger to the truck so the battery voltage stay up. I trip to work is only about 10 minutes, so there is not a lot of charge time.

I updated my 2021 Job 1 last fall with the mongoose and FDRS to finally get bluecruise after the dealer failed. Curious to see if I have been receiving any updates since or if they are piling up. I haven’t been super interested in trying to update manually until we see a bluecruise 1.2 release. My VIN is below, could anyone update me on the latest? Thank you

You got 4.2.1 on 4/24. The next day 4.2.2 was sent to you and failed, and 4.2.2. was sent to you again on 5/3 where it failed again. The reason for failure is unclear, but there is something with the files your truck is downloading that your GWM doesn't like and it rejected the updates. Out of all the 4.2.x updates, 4.2.2 is the only one that seems to be a PITA to go through for some people.

It has been sitting in your queue since 5/3, but it has not tried to download any of the files. Have you started or driven your truck at all the past few days?

Not many people have reported 4.3.2 yet. In theory, it should pop up soon, but it is not in your queue at this time.

you do have a tcu update queued and your gwm just completed pu update so you should be receiving 4.2.4

@Kanuck My truck downloaded 4.3.2 on Wednesday afternoon but would not install it on Thursday morning despite my having charged the battery to 100% before that attempt. I subsequently spoke with a Ford OTA specialist who advised me that a precondition for installing the 4.3.2 update was to have driven the truck for at least 30 minutes continuously after the update had been downloaded. I took the truck out for a 50 minute drive for good measure, returned home, and got the update to install successfully.

I put a new Costco H8 AGM battery in my truck and seems to have helped my OTA updates along with auto start stop finally working

Interesting. I wonder if a network scan will cause it to pop up. I'm not rewarding Ford with another $50 to find out, though. lol

As @kodiakz mentioned; your truck has 3.5.3 in queue right now. The OTA trigger was sent to your truck 12 days ago and expires in two days. It is stuck trying to download the files it needs from Ford. This is the second time you get this update, and it is looking like it is the second time this update will fail to install for you. There is nothing you are doing wrong and there is nothing you can do to help the update go through. The problem is on Ford's side, as this is a very common occurrence with this particular update.

@rugedraw well it looks like I am on the wait till they send it again list as 3.5.3 does not appear to have downloaded as no full screen car play. Does it show any reason for failure such as low battery?

Yes, the OTA trigger timed out. There is no error message......it failed for the same reason it has failed for many others: It was not able to download all the files it needed from Ford's servers. There is nothing you did wrong and there is nothing you could have done different. That particular update has been very hit-or-miss since it was released.
