Cool thanks. I also came across this and tried it, seems to work. If someone is interested it's a different way of checking status vs delivery of the OTA to your car.

Can someone check my vin number please thank you!! 1FTFW1ED0NFC16090
After spending 8 weeks at the dealer last summer it was determined that I needed a new APIM. It was back-ordered and finally got replaced in late December 2022. I received 1 OTA update in early January (Sync version 2.1.1) and nothing since. I had it back at the dealer last week to replace the inverter since my AC outlets weren't working and let them know I was not getting any updates. They said this was due to a bad battery and replaced the battery. When I picked the truck up, I was told it was updated to the latest version. I don't see any of the newer features such as full-screen carplay.
When I check update status in the truck, it just says I'm up to date with a blank screen. According to my ford owner account I'm on Sync version 4.0.21233

FDRS shows you have no updates available.New f150 2023 PB 502a Lariat - April build (Canadian Vehicle). Would be great to understand how current everything is. I've had the vehicle for 3 weeks and have had zero OTA updates.

I think I got mine up to date via FDRS after never receiving any OTA. Could someone see where i stand?

Thanks!
No. In fact in many cases updating via FDRS can fix the “link” and cause updates to start coming OTA. I just updated a guys truck last week. He had just gotten it although it had sat on the lot. No updates. We updated it and the next day he started getting OTA.Thanks!
I know this has been asked, but I don’t think I’ve seen a definitive answer: If I’ve updated via FDRS, will I receive updates via OTA going forward, or have I “broken the link”?
Great. So I should see that GWM update and whatever comes after via OTA?… assuming I can regain my patience with Ford.No. In fact in many cases updating via FDRS can fix the “link” and cause updates to start coming OTA. you just received 4.2.2 with sync 23031 so you are up to date no more ota in queueWould appreciate someone checking to see if I have any remaining updates. I have had 2 OTA updates in the last 2 days. 1FTFW1ED6MFB86236
As far as OTA updates go, you are only missing 4.2.3 and 4.2.4.Would appreciate someone checking to see if I have any remaining updates. I have had 2 OTA updates in the last 2 days. 1FTFW1ED6MFB86236
