I appreciate all you for weighing in. With your help, and after careful consideration, I have removed my stickers. Looking forward to seeing it in the daylight today. Thinking I am going to like the clean look. And a few of you were right. They came off with zero resistance. I didn't even need to heat them up.

Question. I've considered taking mine off as well. Had the truck a year. Would the stickers still come off clean? Does anyone have recommended ways to clean any residual sticker stuff? Is paint fade a real concern?

When removing badges I've always used goo gone (or any citrus based cleaner). Just make sure you rinse it off well afterwards. It's just precautionary, though I've never had an issue with it messing up my paint, but I've also just made sure to rinse. I have let it set on my paint to "soak in" for a few minutes at time as well, but again, always rinsed it off well, even between different applications removing a badge.

I think it depends on the color of your truck and the stickers. Like some have mentioned, you can replace with another aftermarket sticker as well. That’s what I did with my previous truck. I now have the race red f150, so the STX sticker helps break that bright red up a bit. But I also added more decals and blacked out the f150 emblems on the tailgate and front.

I get them from Personlize Your Vehicle with Chrome Letters & Numbers | Elektroplate (chromeemblems.com). Style #2 Chrome.

KING RANCH was 1 1/4" spacing from beginning of one letter to the next.

LARIAT letters were 2" spacing from the beginning of the letter to the next.

2 1/2" above the sticker or taillight line.
