Rear view camera fix

Mine is at the dealer now, been there 5 weeks so far for the recall. Seems the apim won't accept the update, the other seven modules do. Ford finally authorized a new module, but it's not the apim. It's about 2 weeks between engineering having new ideas so I'm out of a truck even though it is completely driveable! The dealer won't give it back in between because if they close out the work order they don't get paid

That sucks

I am not sure how an OTA update will work if this is a common issue of trucks being down for days or weeks.

I can’t speak for that user but part of the recall states Ford will provide a rental.

I did. I'm driving a brand new Bronco. 50 miles on it when I got it. But I bought a pickup cause I use it for stuff. The bronco is basically a toy. My warranty is up Nov 15, we'll see what happens after that if it's still there. At the rate Ford engineering is guessing it very well could be. About 2 weeks per guess.
