FYI - During yesterdays live feed about the F-150 I submitted a question asking if Ford has any plans to update the software to allow for center console use of the rear view camera at speed. (In place of a digital rear view mirror which we should have, but I digress) They came back and said that the only way to get that to work is to be stopped or put the truck in reverse. They had no plans for expanding that at this time.

Maybe Forscan will be able to achieve this but it looks like it is not in Fords immediate plans. Pity really. At least you can use the bed cam this way but the whole point is to have your bed loaded up and then be able to flip to the digital rearview and still be able to see behind you. Digital rear view add on might be the only option at this point.
I updated my 2021 Job 1 Lariat PB two days ago using FDRS to all of the latest module software and I have these capabilities now, plus "hitch camera" view which is awesome when trying to solo hookup our Airstream.

All of the cameras work at speed now, and there's a bed view tab/page for the right side of the 12" Sync display also.

Thanks for adding that Rick! That is so funny that I asked about this on the Ford Live Stream and was told something that was the opposite of what was in that update. LOL.

I can't imagine how this wasn't a feature right from the start. The hard part is the hardware and electrical but since that is already there, why not write it into the software and give your customers even more options. I may now switch from the Diamondback cover to a topper. Maybe not but at least now I know I will be able to see out the back even with a topper. Thanks again for the confirmation.

Do you get the warning block in the middle of the screen or is it clear? Maybe the update just fixed this and the guy on the live stream did not know it.
Had to check. I get the warning message but can still see the majority of the screen. Anything that the warning is blocking can be seen via the bed camera though.

the warning display blocks a part of my screen too. it’s freaking annoying as my Ram didn’t have the same matter.

I've always had the rear camera at speed on my '22, but always had the "full view not available message" which seemed stupid. This gives me hope that a fix might be on the way
