Did the bumper shift at all? Even if you go aftermarket, you'll likely need to replace a support bracket or impact bar behind that. I had a very similar situation last year, but it also bent my left exhaust pipe (dual outlet BAP on mine).

I like the look and functions of the rough country bumper. At around $700.

I have this bumper. I like it a lot. Coating seems like good quality and very sturdy. The steps on the corners help out getting into the bed a lot especially since I have 2” taller blocks on the rear. Only complaint is that it was a pain in the butt to install and my license plate lights flash now. Probably my fault when I was swapping the writing harness from the original to the new.

No shift, it was a low speed impact. The ford body shop looked at it already. On the 24 the skin is 1 piece for both sides vs 2 pieces as before. The last estimate I got from the ford body shop was $1600 and that didn’t include the rental costs.

So I’ll be out just a little bit if I go aftermarket. I found a body shop that also does aftermarket bumpers. He said he’ll work with me. I’m eyeballing a road armor or ADD bumper.

This is how you do it. You request the check in your name for the amount of the damage per X body shop. You can cash the check and do whatever the hell you please. Buy the half on Ebay paint matched, buy aftermarket, do nothing and pocket the money.

Around my area they will only install aftermarket if you buy from them, so they can mark up the parts. I guess you could call that messy.

I located a body shop that is a Road Armor dealer.

He said no problem and is ordering this for me. I’ll pay the difference the insurance would have have paid for the original repair.

I like your style. That one has really nice clean lines. Road Armor makes really good stuff. I just know I would smack my knees on those shackle mount tabs. Post some pics after it’s installed!
