Is it possible that Ford now reflects that with the Powerboost you don't get to choose the Max Tow option because it's a ripoff$$ to?
Remember that in the 2024 Order Guide there is no longer any "Max Tow Package (53C)" for any drivetrain, only the "Tow/haul Package (53T)" and that package is available for the PB (see package description above).

The "Max Tow Axle" is an option available on top of the "Tow/Haul Package (53T)" except for the PB.

As in past years the Order Guide is silent with regard to PB features like heavier frame, radiator, etc, so we have nothing indicating any of that has changed.

IMO it'll be interesting to see the 2024 Trailer Tow Guide and the various rated maximum trailer weight limitations on the 2024 PB.

Blow out the RV community as a customer? Yea, that’s pretty stupid. PB had, past tense, a serious value advantage.

No HD axle? MEH, not like I needed it. No more bigger rear brakes? Shame, but livable. No trailer tow mirrors? Not happening. Mirrors matter!! It’s as simple as this: I will not order a ‘24 PowerBoost. Clocks ticking I guess. I suppose I need to decide how much I need the quiet 7.2kw.

I really like my 2021 PB that I custom ordered specifically as a 157 with towing mirrors. I was planning to replace it with in the future with a next gen PB at some point (~2031), but if they stop offering 157 and tow mirrors, I'd have a tough decision to make. There is no way I would ever want a truck again without the towing mirrors and I only tow about 6 times a year. Their value is really in every day driving. So either I'd have to do a post purchase swap, stick with a regular non-PB 3.5, or consider a super duty.

I don't really consider them Tow Mirrors.
I consider them truck mirrors.
The standard mirrors are car mirrors. They work, but they just aren't nearly as much mirror as truck mirrors. :)

You guys mean well, I'm sure of it.
But if you think the world is a mess now? ??

Don't give me the reins.
The age limit for anyone in my cabinet will be 6. I'm just saying.

Well I am done with this piece of junk 22 F150. Currently there are at least 10 gremlins they are trying to fix. Software updates have not done any good. At least the finally came out with a recall on the Half Axel problem but aint it funny they still dont have a fix for it.
Now a check engine light has come on and they cant get in to look at it because there is a National computer bug and they cant get on. As far as the check engine light ,I think it has to do with the rear end. sitting at a stand still the truck jerks like you just got hit fro behind. Like a Ujoint is loose or something. Half afraid too drive it. Going to get it fix and then go to a 25 Ram Tungsten when they come out.
