Just purchased a 2021 PB 4x4 Platinum edition, had it two days and whenever I shut off/locked the truck within 5 mins, the truck would start getting a loud random clicking sound coming from the Brake Booster (Round servo unit). Clicks on and off for about 20-30 mins before it stops. Anyone else had this issue?

I noticed the same ticking coming from my wifes 2020 Escape Titanium when we first bought it. Now I have an XLT F150 and have noticed the same ticking. Sometimes when I go in the garage it sounds like a clock shop.

Mine makes all kinds of clicking noises while I'm sitting on the porch after getting home.

I’ve noticed most of the clicking dies down after about 10-15 minutes.

My clicking sound from the EBB Relay/Solenoid seems to happen when I have the "Approach Detection" feature enabled (option is on Running Board Menu). When its off, no clicking sound after turning off the truck.

I would like to see if anyone who has this same issue could test their truck and post feedback.

If I am stand near the truck I hear random clicking like the door is trying to unlock. It also could be coming from under the hood hard to tell exactly where it’s coming from anyone have a similar issue. Xl stx 5.0 4x4 thanks
I have the issue. It sound like the door locks open or close. The sound is coming under the truck near the wheel. I have the XL with your old school key, so I don't think it is the key fob.

I have the same sound but it has nothing to do with the Key fob. After I park at random it will start clicking in 15-20 second intervals. The sound is coming from the master cylinder area. If I open the door or even the hood (key fob no where near the truck) the clicking will stop. I was able to confirm its location by opening the hood and pressing down the hood latch manually. I cant the truck into the shop to get it looked at for 2 weeks but I will pass on what i find.

Glad to hear that I am not totally losing it. I could have sworn that I heard clicking while sitting on my deck. It sounds almost like the locks when you unlock with the fob. For the life of me, I could not figure out why it would happen sometimes, and then not at all.
This has been driving me nuts for quite some time, then I may have figured it out. I think it has nothing to with my fob, and more to do with my phone, and specifically ford pass.
I was sitting out on the deck one day enjoying not hearing the clicking. I realized I left my phone in the house and went in to get it. When I went back out, the clicking commenced. I have since confirmed this. No phone = no click. I’m willing to bet that at least some of notice when you get closer to the truck because you have your phone on you.
The jury is still out on what about the phone/ ford pass is causing it, but I am pretty that’s the culprit

Hi there! This doesn't sound like an experience we want you to have with your F-150. Could you please send us a PM with your VIN and the name and location of your Ford dealer? I can look into this on my end.

Dropped my truck off at the dealership today and they called later to confirm that they were hearing the clicking noise and are having to trouble shoot it. Hope to know more tomorrow.

Wish I had an update but they are still trouble shooting it. They texted me earlier letting me know they were going to reprogram a few modules but that is the last I have heard.

Thanks for the update. My truck has been at my dealership for the past 2 weeks. They contacted FORD support, but I'm still waiting for them to diagnose the issue. My dealership cannot reproduce the issue while the truck is there, but I provided them videos of the clicking sound and I also sent them your videos to show them that it wasn't just my truck making the clicking sound. As soon as they figure it out please let us know.

I talked to my dealership today and they are still unsure as the how to fix it. They are in contact with Ford to try and figure out the next step to take the troubleshoot. But from my understanding they are having to wait to hear back to Ford so they are going to give me back my truck tomorrow and once they hear information back from Ford I'll bring it back to them.

My Dealership finally heard the clicking sound while the truck was just sitting there in garage. They have been in contact with Ford Support for weeks now, but until it did it there they didn't do much. Now I hope they will be able to figure what the cause is. I will keep you updated as soon as I hear anything from my dealership.
