Yes, it should have the active air dam. As far as I know the “feature” is standard equipment.

I took mine off my 24 Lariat almost immediately. All they do is rattle.. Had enough of it.

I also removed mine after purchasing my 22' new. Not worth the problems you will eventually have. My son has the identical truck to mine. 1st winter it jammed up because of snow/ice buildup. But hey...if gaining a very small mpg gain is what your after on the freeway then to each his own.

Plus it looks better if you trim the spoiler!

Standard equipment. I just took mine off to implement a skid plate. It will be for sale on eBay soon. PM if you want to get it before I post it.

maybe tech doing inspection never even looked to see if the moving part was attached
or dare i say they pencil whipped the inspection...

I had that was warped, not sure how it happened. Got a second one and it continually hung up and the warning light came up. I took it off threw it away and added a set of Bilstien struts to level it out . I was so tired of dealing with it. The funny thing is I didn’t notice any difference in fuel mileage. But the whistling and rattling went away. ITS A Failed peace of Junk. Just like there batteries. I would go back to the dealer and get a new one and make sure the electrical parts are still there. Then put it in your attic and install it when you get rid of the truck. It’s only a few screws that attaches it to the actuators.

I have (2) of them from our trucks up in my attic. Heck I'll give you a full set (with actuators) just to get them out of my garage lol. Local pick up though.
