I found my truck on a dealer’s website. They ordered it 9/16. It is waiting transport with a ETA date of 1/2/21! Ford has been in contact with dealer and the plan is to take delivery the last week of December WOOT!

Roger I think something is wrong with your dealer. One of mine entered on 11/5 and has build date 1/25, other one entered 12/2 and has build date 1/18. They each gave me the VIN already. Tracking them is useless currently as it just says scheduled and will for a while. But at least I verified all the info and one had to fix the order!

Anyway, there is some good news in that on another forum some King Ranches showed up in Minnesota, so at least some upper trims are getting released from Dearborn. (Kansas City seems to be free flowing as they don't have power running boards!)

I also see that of the 3 KR's listed in my 20 mile radius, all have been built but ONE of them says shipped 12/13 and is in transit to my closest dealer. I think it is possible my dealer took my order but did not have an allocation. But who knows, maybe tomorrow my truck will be scheduled. It is what is, and I've had enough items on the constraint list that it really could be anything. The wait continues...

That’s a great feeling to find your truck, congrats! Same kind of thing happened to me. I stumbled on my truck when perusing the Ford website. Was listed as “Just Arrived.” I was like WTH and let my dealership know. They had no idea. One week later, bam, my truck was delivered to my dealer. For me it was about 12 weeks from my order at the dealership to my truck sitting in my garage.

I ordered late September, Lariat 501A (need the bench up front) powerboost, with max tow, priority 11, still nothing. I too think that my dealer doesn't have any allocations.

I ordered my lariat aug 11, max tow, work surface, power running boards, spray in bed liner and my order is still in "order processing". Last weekend I happened to come across a stock ordered one at my dealer that has virtually the same options that was built on 11-02 and shipped on 12-10. Needless to say I have that unit reserved as I'm thinking my retail order isn't going to be here until March April. I'm in Canada and arrival eta isn't until 02-14 but I think I'm still going to be a couple months ahead.

Sweet. A few years back I ordered the first gen2 Edge. Not as long a wait but I know the feeling of getting a vin. I was searching ford dealers and found one close enough to what I wanted And contacted dealer

Your not alone. I ordered a 3.5 Plat with Max Tow and work surface. Ordered back in Sept. I also have a vin and a 2-1-2021 build date. Seems like all of us that ordered Max Tow now have the same build date or just somewhere to put us all. Just reading some of the other threads, alot of people have a 02/1/2021 date now.

I also ordered a fully maxed out Platinum in Sept and am STILL WAITING on a VIN and a build date....

- Spray in bed liner (not sure I understand this one)

And that is why I still have no VIN and no Build Date on my Platinum..
