In Production

My Blend date is 20210410 with a in-production date of 20210423. There hasn't been any other changes except last week i now have an ETA to my dealer 20210530.

All this is confusing, since the chip shortage is wreaking havoc on this industry.

I do want to say CONGRATS to those that have received their trucks, I am now on week 15 and counting. I am hoping to get a surprise at the end of May...Got to be optimistic!!

Wow. 4/10 blend with an “In Production” date of 4/23 indicates they’re probably running at least two weeks behind.

They were two days behind back in Mid-March. My blend was 3/10, built on 3/12.

I have a great idea. When our trucks show up in August or September Ford should take at least $3,000 off the price for getting us a truck that is almost a year old.

The people that order a 2022 will have the same issues as us. Fabricating more chips is not something that happens over night. The 2022 trucks will play the same supply chain lottery that we have. Maybe after Christmas things will normalize. But who knows.

Just got an ETA update, moved out 3 months!!!! SOB's

Truck ordered 12/13/2020. Produced on 3/19. Last ETA up until this afternoon was 5/13 (this week). Now it's 8/13.

So the new plan is my truck, which is mostly built, sitting outside in a Detroit parking lot for a total of 5 months!

Unfortunately this is a common theme right now. I declined delivery on my first order due to rust. Reordered through @Granger Ford. Hoping that it won’t stretch into Fall!

I just received a SHOCK call from my dealer. He stated my truck was just listed as waiting for a transport assignment. He said that usually happens in a few days after they get this notice. If everything goes OK, I could see my truck before the end of the month!

Hmm very similar to mine. Ordered 3/11 with blend of 4/29 and I have similar options. Hopefully mine will ship in a few days. What do the trackers say for you?

The Ford tracker site had been showing "Order Confirmed" (3/29/2021); this morning its move to the "In Production" spot. It reads "Your order is being manufactured at one of our factories. This can take a few days. When you have a moment, try out the link to your Window Sticker that is now available lower on the page." I clicked the tab for the window sticker and this pops up, "The window sticker has not yet been released for this vehicle." (I'm thinking I may get my truck sometime before Christmas.)

Mine reads the same way along with the Window Sticker but My ETA populates as 5/25. The Forum Tracker loads my Window Sticker without any hesitation though.

Ever since my dealer gave me the vin number it had a delivery date of 5/16/2021. There was a count down number, but that went away after 6 days left. The delivery date has not changed and it states "in production." So with that info and the factory closed I was surprised when my dealer called and told me they had the waiting for assignment info. I asked him does that mean it is already built? He said yes it was. I guess ford does not update that site with all the other problems they have at this time.

Thanks for this information. A lot of us are in the same status on the trackers as you. It gives me hope mine is actually on the way as well.
