The day before the ABS light turned on...
Driving on black ice with a slight snow divider between highway lanes. I have done that all my life in AWD(audi, acuras, fords) and 4WD(F250) cars/trucks. Steady moving from one lane to another and no problem.
First time I did it in an F150 with 4A
Most of the time it went well but one time the back kicked on me. At the time I was thinking it was 4A taking time to activate and decided to do the rest of the drive in 4H as I would have on my previous F250 that did not have 4A.
No lights or anything until I start the truck the following day. Now while at the dealer for over a week I watch a video on ABS replacement because it seems like it should not take more than a day or two. Video says that before failure it can happen to experience random wheel lockup while driving.
Did my truck try to kill me or if the guy in the video full of it?
