Here we go again. I'm getting my 2021 Platinum PB ready for Milton. Not sure how many of these storms I can dodge. Looks like the Tampa Bay area is ground zero for this one as of right now.

I'm on the backside of the state but I'll still be topping off the tank and testing the truck against the new 4 Ton A/C. Ran the two 3.5 Tons just fine but want to be sure....will order a softstart if it even so much as hiccups.

Helene sideswiped my brother on the Homosassa River pretty hard and Milton is going to be my turn. Forecast path runs between my back doors and the pool.

Running the generator for an hour just to make sure it’s good to go and the PB stands ready.

Just like Edna from the Incredibles said: “Luck favors the prepared.”

I’ll pressure wash the pad afterwards. That looks horrible

It's my. Alternate to not having a pb
100 gallon propane tank and meter base transfer switch

Top off the tank on the PB and got 25 more gallons of gas for my cans just to be sure I have enough.
also got my 3500 gas generator out and tested it. It's not looking good for the bay area. I really hope it goes south of Tampa....

if the storm surge is 12' like theyre calling for, what do you do with the generators/trucks? (i live in AZ, we do not have this thing called rain/moisture)

If you're near the surge, you fucking leave. 10-15 miles further inland will make a big difference.

Edit: I do not live in an evacuation zone and am not in a flood zone either. Wind will be the bitch for me.
