First, I'm really happy for you.
That's exactly how it is supposed to be!
Any vehicle, regardless of manufacturer, can have an issue with some component. But if the part(s) is available and the technician can perform the repair in a timely manner, it's SUCH a different experience than the horror stories we hear so much about these days.

Okay, so I went to see the dealer today, explained my fault codes, and that CEL light is on (it came on last night) and guess what, they tell me, they have the part in stock, right at the dealership. WOW! I left the truck there in the morning, picked it up same day in the afternoon with a new muffler inlet pipe installed! I could not be happier that my truck is fixed just before upcoming cross-country trip! Kudos to my dealership for the prompt service and same day delivery

@TN Rotty, not sure if you want to update the spreadsheet with my info, but in case you want to, here it is:

- no leak after 24,600 miles
- CEL showed up with exhaust heat exchanger valve (P2C22, P2C23, P237F)
- dealer replaced muffler inlet pipe - part number NL3Z-5A212-B

What's worth mentioning, the ML3Z-5A212-W (short bed) has been replaced with the new revision NL3Z-5A212-B. Hope this one works well with no further issues.

Truck drives well, CEL is gone, FS shows no codes, no leak observed so far.

Great news that you got in and out without having to jury rig something. I think I have your data correct, if not let me know.

Hello everyone, I have bee following the forum for a bit but just joined yesterday finally. So I have a 2022 Platinum Powerboost FX4 with the 6.5ft bed and I have been getting the P2C22 trouble code a lot over the past week. Took it into the dealership today and they confirmed what i already knew..... the valve is bad but I have no leak.

They ordered a new part but do not have an estimated shipping date at all. I should also note that this part number is a new one that superceeds the ML3Z-5A212-J, ML3Z-5A212-S and ML3Z-5A212-V. Part number is NL3Z-5A212-C. Not sure if anyone has caught that yet but I also have not been able to read the entire megatread.... just a decent amount of it though.

So are these the 3rd version that Ford is on with these parts? I was expecting to get a "V" model part ordered as that was what was supposed to be the revised version just to find out that I will be getting a "C" model.

So I have 2022 powerboost with 17 k on it and got in it the other day and got the dreaded check engine light. Couldn’t open the fuel door but found the manual release so I take it in to get it checked out and they get a couple of codes showing up and let me know I also have a coolant leak. Parts ordered gave me a rental probably be about 2 weeks.
