I received 4.2.1 yesterday as well. I updated 4 modules with FDRS a week ago, and received the OTA yesterday, which I assume are unrelated. I mention that because I see someone ask if using FDRS to update modules interferes with OTA in some way. In my case, it certainly didn't.

The saying that if it ain't broke, don't fix it applies to things like lawn mowers, hammers, toaster ovens, etc. It doesn't apply to things with millions of lines of software in them whether or not you aware of what is actually broken. With that many lines of code, the very highest quality code (with all due respect, not Ford) will still have many, many bugs.

I just checked FDRS and I do not have a TCU update showing. I was not connected to my truck. I'll check again later when I can connect.

Checked while connected to my truck and no TCU update popped up.

I went to grab my oldest granddaughter her favorite food from a restaurant a couple of towns over. (Her Birthday) An hour round trip.

I got 4.2.1 while inside grabbing the food.

I believe this is the first OTA this truck has ever received in the 11 months I've owned it. I never gave Ford a chance to beat me at my FDRS game. Lol

got this update today and my fordpass had been dead since March 3rd...this magically showed up and now everything is working. I hope this is the solution to the modem/tcu issues.

That must be the first time you've ever gotten an OTA. I don't recollect you ever waiting for one, without doing an fdrs attack! ?

The MME's just got another GWM update not even 2 weeks after 4.2.2 hit. I got pushed a refreshed 4.2.2 this week as well for some odd reason. I think ford made a change w/ out giving it a revision number (23s got pushed 4.2.2.2) but the 21/22s got a refreshed "4.2.2" (at least those of us who are FDRS chasers.

I wouldn't be surprised to hear EAs getting BC 1.2 pushed before too long. They said Q2/Q3 -- a window that opens in less than 2 weeks. If the MME gets 1.2 pushed to it, I'm putting my F150's IPMA into the MME and doing a 'new module install' to see what happens...

Must have got my 4.2.1 last night or this morning. Lets hope everything still works. I'm hoping the rearview camera can display on the display at speed without that stupid black warning bar blocking the view. We will see.

No luck on the rearview camera front. FULL VIEW NOT AVAILABLE in a black bar still goes across the main part of the screen at speed.

I think I am going to have to get a proper digital rearview mirror. The Wolfbox 900 might kill a couple of birds with one stone. Then I could get an ARE Topper and wire the rear camera on the top of that. Pity that the bed camera is not digital and better quality.
