Is it a good idea to plug back in speaker when bringing to dealer or is it not something I should be worried about?

I grabbed one of these too but still need to install it. I originally had the forscan changes and module disconnected but when my truck was in the shop they tried to blame the disconnected module on communication issues I was havingI bought a resister built just for the PB speaker, it worked perfect. No warnings on the dash - easy plug in and had a plug for the speaker too to keep the connection clean for if I ever needed to plug it in again. Google megaohmmotorsports ...
Even if you have the warning system intact and enabled, if you hit someone there is going to be consequences.I think the only risk you run is if you hit someone with the vehicle and they pull the settings on the truck. If they see the warning system disabled, it likely would not go so well for your case should they sue for damages.
The noises irritate the living hell out of me, I work overnight security at a housing development the residents that have moved in thanked me for bypassing it instead of having to listen to the noises all night longEven if you have the warning system intact and enabled, if you hit someone there is going to be consequences.
I’m actually OK with the reverse chime. I can’t stand that George Jetson engine noise bullcrap.
Well, I understand. I installed the MegaOhm kit on mine shortly after buyingThe noises irritate the living hell out of me, I work overnight security at a housing development the residents that have moved in thanked me for bypassing it instead of having to listen to the noises all night long
I did as well but I live in Hawaii and everything shipped via ground advantage takes 4-6 weeks to arrive minimum so I had to suffer during that time. Wasn't too bad considering truck was in the shop at 300 miles for a bad turbo due to air deflector restriction for 2.5 weeksWell, I understand.
