I am not very curious if the Livernois tune added on top of My Stage 2 Whipple tune was the reason my engine exploded?

Engine was destroyed on Feb 9th thread here: https://www.f150gen14.com/forum/threads/stage-2-whipple-engine-failure-2021-f150-5-0.23625/page-3

Anyone know a way I can see my trucks OTA update history?
You should be able to plug your MyCalibrator in and see what tune is on it currently, or maybe the FordPass has flash history. You can go to software update in FordPass and see what's been done recently.

I'd say if you got flashed back to stock that could be a problem for a supercharged truck. I saw in the other thread that the Tomahawk tune won't overwrite but I haven't heard the same from Livernois and mine nearly overwrote itself.

Yes, they can revert forscan changes. Always best to backup each module after the update is successful. Makes rectifying ford's reverts EZ
Changes made to the AsBuilt with ForScan get synced back to Ford so when they update a module it should contain all the changes you made. Every change I have made is reflected in Ford's data. You can check here.

Eventually. It will occasionally revert something if done recently. Sometimes it'll wipe a setting in a module when that module is updated. The longest time between change and reversion I've seen is 5 months.

I posted in another thread, Ford forced an OTA update on my 2023 2 nights ago. Ever since the OTA update I have a really bad delayed/slip shift from 4th to 5th gear. Feels like it’s slipping for a second then engages pretty hard every single time it goes from 4-5. Whatever they did is making my 5th gear solenoid in the valve body act up big time.

Is there a way to see which updates have currently been applied to my truck? I saw that the Power-Up 6.4 update was installed on 5/4, but not sure if that is the update that overwrites tunes. I have automatic updates off, but it would be nice to be able to see which updates have been applied.

Which update was this? You should be able to tell in Ford Pass under vehicle / Software Updates / Recent Changes.

Ever since my update my truck is as smooth as it has ever been. Better than the OZ tune. I don’t feel any shifts. Even the power from take off feels way more powerful. I just wish there was an easy plug in like the gm trucks to turn off cd. I don’t think I am going back to the OZ tune. It might not have the top end power like the OZ tune but it drives so much better.

Interesting... So far, this seems to be affecting OZ tunes. Any reports of this affecting livernois tunes as well?

I'm turning off OTA updates as a precaution anyway..
Can confirm it wipes livernois tune. I put in a support request. Haven't heard anything yet but I'm sure they're swamped with this and will get back to me once they've got a fix.

Yikes. Keep us posted on their response.

Can you actually tell that the tune is gone? Does it feel stock again?

I can't say 100% that all aspects of the tune are reverted, but I can tell you I only checked because I suspected something.

My laziness and curiosity are at odds here; I want to poke around in forscan but I know I can't fix anything doing so.

My stock truck doesn't feel like it has as much getup as it did before this update. Could be lazy trans logic due to the relearn?

Anyone else who has a stock truck feel like theirs either lost power or it's less willing to downshift?

I defiantly noticed it on my Truck. Throttle response is less aggressive, shifting is much softer and it shits to a high gear way to soon. I was starting to think something was wrong with it and then I noticed auto start stop was active again.

That is weird I have the exact opposite experience. My truck has never shifted better and it feels more responsive.

Got my updated tune reloaded and I'm back in business. What a PITA this whole thing has been. Auto-updates are now switched OFF
