I have a 2021 3.5 Ecoboost that I purchased in Sept 2021. I don't believe I have ever received an OTA update.
I had it in June of last year and I thought one of the recalls was going to fix it, it didn't, life happened, and it was Nov. before I brought it back, and they talked to Ford HQ, spent time on it, and got it to run updates (I was told), although none of the features I've heard like (full screen carplay, turn by turn on the dash, rear camera) have ever showed up.
More so, if i go in and scheduled it to check for updates at a certain time/date, it doesn't remember the schedule. I've told them this month, but I swear the server manager's eyes glaze over as soon as I say OTA update.
I dropped it off this morning, and he just called me to ask what was it that it wasn't doing? I don't know what to tell him, other than the OTA schedule isn't remembering the schedule and it still doesn't look like I'm getting any updates.
Anyone have any suggestions on what to tell them? It would be nice if there was a simple "what version you are on" screen, but that might make too much sense?
