Ordered up set of KO3

Ordered up a set of BF Goodrich KO3 285/60R20, $440 per tire mounted and balanced so around $1800 all in. They are giving me an $80 Visa card for whatever that’s worth. Should be installed on Wednesday, I’ll post up my thoughts and some pics as this seems like a good tire for those looking for some extra beef but want a budget friendly option. They don’t carry the 275 yet so I had to go a little bigger, that SKU is coming this spring though.

That’s insane for “small” tires. I dread tire purchase days now. It seemed like just a few years ago I bought a set of 35’s AND a set of wheels for $2200.

I'm exceptionally happy with my KO3s so far. As of now, they have endured a Wisconsin Winter and a wet spring.

Curious to see how you like them. I looked at these when I was tire shopping but seemed like they only had load range F in the sizes I was interested in. What load range are these?

I have been thinking about getting these same tires. I am really curious about what they will do to your gas mileage. I put some Nitto Ridge Grapplers and Fuel wheels on my 2018 F150 without even thinking about gas mileage, I like the looks of them but lost about 4 miles to the gallon

I just bought (4) Kenda Klever RT's 35 x 10.5 R17's for $1190 delivered. Actually, in todays world, that's probably not too bad.
Everything is insane cost now.

They are on, I like them! Definitely a harsher ride compared to the stock Hankook Dynapro AT2’s that came off. Nice and quiet though. They look great. Slightly wider than the stockers (last photo).

Not sure the difference between the KO3 and the KO2, but I've had a set of KO2's for years and have been very happy with them. good traction and decent road ride. I had a set of Nitto's, but honestly was not impressed with the performance in the snow so I switched to BFG KO2. I see you're in Buffalo so the KO3's should serve you well !

Today was very rainy, performance was great for both braking and acceleration in the wet. I think the wider 285 feels much more planted. Ride isn’t that much stiffer than stock (just a bit) that is to be expected going to 10 ply LT. Overall very happy with the changeup after 24 hours.

Let us know how they are. Read some poor test results on wet traction.

Just taking off from a stop in wet weather would be my concern.

Trying to get out in heavy traffic from a stop and slipping a lot.
