Oil Plug crush washers

I've never replaced the oil plug crush washer when changing my oil and I figure I should start. Are these the ones the 3.5 Eco Powerboost uses?

My drain plug has a rubber o-ring built into it.

These trucks do not have crush washers. They have o rings built into the drain plug itself. Still wouldn’t hurt to change every other oil change.

You can’t replace the o ring very easily, it would make sense just to get and entire new plug.

You can probably get away with a few oil changes before replacing the plug, but fortunately they're pretty cheap. This should be the exact part for your truck:

That looks nothing like mine. Mine is steel.

i’m not knocking you for this idea, but you do know that dealers don’t replace these with every oil change.

of course it’s your call and it is relatively cheap but if it’s not leaking, I don’t see the need

I have a 2022 PB and mine has the metal plug. I should get one and give it to the service guy to replace the old one. This will be my third change as now I only drive about 2k - 3k miles a year so I just change it yearly.
