You surely have seen my current dashboard. It's posted ad nauseum around here.

The top half are ICE related PIDs and mirror what a lot of Ecoboost fellas would want to monitor. I've been monitoring the same pids going back several years and trucks.

The bottom half is all electrical.
Orange for High Voltage
Red for Low Voltage

I performed a firmware upgrade for the unit and downloaded the enhanced PID thing for 22 F-150 3.5 full hybrid.
You surely have seen my current dashboard. It's posted ad nauseum around here.

It is a masterpiece sir! It is a wonderful example to go by and I’ve made notes of the PIDs you’re using which is the key to this thing. Finding what you actually want to see and displaying it in a way that is useful.

You got it set up right.
I admit that I wish it could see all 42 modules in my truck (all busses), but honestly it is outstanding that we have the access we have for the cost of the dongle and a smartphone app.

@HammaMan you are so right about step 5 on the fan! Now that I can see the LV Bus in real time, it’s step 4 and 13.0V then step 5 and 14.4V then back to 4 and 13.0V again lol. Best hack ever but wtf?

Understanding what the PID is actually reporting is the rub. It’s name can be misleading. I appreciate the hard work and considerable time that members are kind enough to share with newbies like me.

Even with “Battery Saver” sleep mode, is it risky to leave it plugged in for the PB?

I leave mine plugged in. IIRC, it powers down after x minutes. Though it does wake up anytime a door is unlocked, and possibly even when the welcome lighting triggers.

Now, go set up logging in the app and see what's happening in more detail. :)

I added a manual start/stop button for logging on one dashboard view.

Typical commute for me. 22 miles mixed speed. 85 degrees and sunny mid November. Picture taken is after arriving and pushing the stop button then waiting for the temperature to stop rising.
