When I took my 21 Limited in for service. Noticed an oil drip. Ford replaced the rear main seal. After getting it back and putting about 60 miles on it, my minor drip was a river. Took it back. After having the truck for almost 2 months they call and tell me I need a short block. That ended up being denied by warranty. (Whole other story on the warranty). They never did tell me what the problem was just that it needs a new short block and a $8600 quote. Took it to an independent mechanic I know found that one of the bearings needed replaced and was causing the crank to be off 100th of an inch. Fixed those, and put a better main seal in. It's holding now but still a little bit of a drip. The mechanic thinks my crank pressure is too high. He replaced the pic valve as well. He's going to look into it more. Anything else I should have him check to see what's causing this? It's really aggravating.
