Nitto Terra grappler g3 vs Cooper road + trail to replace hankooks

I’m less than a month into my first NY winter with my f150 and I’ve already had it with the stock Hankooks. My truck is a 24 STX with about 17k miles on the stock tires and they seem to be terrible in snow and ice. I had several different set s of tires over the years on my old Silverado and they were all better than these in the winter. Has anybody been able to compare the nittos and the coopers that I mentioned? Or any other suggestions?

I work at a shop and we install a good amount of tires. Don’t look past the Toyo open counry at3 or the Falken wildpeak at3w. Just mounted some toyos on my buddies 22 and they were 35s. Balanced great, very minimal road noise. I have falken wild peak at3w on my 21. They were replaced with at4ws. I love the falken tires. You have a lot of All terrain tires to chose from. That’s just my .02. Good luck with your search!

The Nitto's are 3 peak rated....should be pretty good in snow. I've now got 25K on mine; they are still at 10/32" so they are wearing great.

As are the Cooper R&T. I have on my truck and ride great.
