Newb Question - Traffic?

Traffic does show while actively using navigation. It won't show when just a moving map. Set your destination and you'll see it.

I highly recommend keeping the avoiding traffic setting turned off. It will do really dumb things with rerouting you 5 minutes to save 1 minute. Outside of that I'm happy with Ford navigation. I still use it but without subscription since I have a 2021. I have to remember business names from 10 years ago when navigating by voice or just use the address. That is mostly because HERE map provider sucks.

SYNC 3 traffic is delivered via an entirely different system than SYNC 4.
SYNC 3 traffic is delivered by SiriusXM, that is why you see green, yellow, and red lines on the older system.
SYNC 4 is delivered via Ford's network and will only show yellow and red lines for traffic, not green.
It will show though lines during normal driving, you don't need to be in nav mode.
It's also nowhere near as accurate as SiriusXM, Google, or Waze.
