New recall: Front Park Lamp Flicker (NHTSA # 22V686)

Isn’t this referring to the Bronco Sport thought? As I read it the fix for the F-150 is available. I’ve already spoken to my sales guy and he said he was going to go talk to the service manager but my truck should be ready for pick up this afternoon.

I hope everything goes well for you. I quizzed my service guy in detail and what he was reading from Ford (Oasis). He read that a fix would be coming mid to late second qtr and the possibility of parts needing to be ordered....

That’s awesome. What trim is it if you don’t mind me asking? They are looking into mine a bit further right now but apparently there’s different fixes for different trim levels. Apparently.

Lets hope that it's not a just shut me up kind of thing, because ford is still showing the wiper motor recall incomplete.

It seems like my sales guy jumped the gun when he said mine should be ready to delivery today. He said that after I sent him a screenshot of the update posted on here. They checked my VIN and there has been no update since Friday. It’s still saying the fix will be available this week. I’m in Canada, not sure if they have only released the fix in the US? There is differences between Canadian and US trucks when it comes to headlights and DRL so maybe programming is different? And mine is a 502. Either way I’m very frustrated but the dealer as assured me it’s coming this week for my truck.

When I go take delivery in 30 minutes I'm going to get confirmation that all recalls have been completed in writing. I'll let you know if the story changes.

They did the lights but didn't have the wiper motor in stock. Said they would call next week. Finally driving it.

Absolutely, Spoke with my rep last night who spoke with the service manager and all they said was there was a big change in the notification so they expect it in the next few days. I’m unsure why it has to be so cryptic but at least it’s something. Nice people but I’m starting to get antsy with all the chatter and the folks to our south taking delivery.

Ya I agree. The system even says North America on it but I’m assuming it has something to do with the differences from Canadian to US trucks but only Ford knows. Fingers crossed…
