What the hell is this about? Recall number 100
Sponsored
That would probably bankrupt the company. They put that shitbox in everythingWhen do we get the 10r80 recall
My bet is it's due to shoddy workmanship from the lowest bidder part supplier rather than bad design. What I shake my head at is that they probably had a perfectly fine pump design before. My god how many years, and cars, have had in-tank pumps. ?![]()
Careful saying that around here. If you got inside info, everyone will come demand answers ?I work for ford and I haven't heard of it yet, ill look into it

All indications are that this is a supplier manufacturing defect, not a design issue at all.
Stuff happens, so it goes.
It's been happening to a few car manufacturers lately, Honda & Toyota are just a few.Read this: https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/rcl/2025/RCLRPT-25V455-7716.pdf
