Need some guidance on decisioning between ESP packages

Hello - I am almost ready to pull the trigger on getting an ESP for my Ford F150 powerboost hybrid. On reading here, I believe Granger is often recommended. When pricing it out, I see a significant difference in pricing for an Extracare package with a $50 deductible and 10 years 100k miles at $2090 vs. $2920 for premium care. I have gone through the comparison between the different components (Engine, transmission, Rear wheel drive etc.) between extra and premium care and only noticed a few areas where Premium care has more coverage than Extra care (but the description page says 113 covered components for extra care vs. 1000+ covered components for premium care. Can someone point me in the right direction on where this number is coming from and does premium care offer significantly high protection? I would sincerely appreciate if someone can help me point in the right direction.

Premium Care. If your 2024 model has any LED lights (which it probably does), get the LED light option too.

The days of buying a new $10 headlight and plugging it in ourselves is long gone.

If you needed a new APIM or screen Extracare will not cover that. For the engine, premium covers the PCM, with extracare you would have to pay for a replacement.

Would you recommend a $50 or $100 deductible and is it worth going over 10 years and 100k miles since price shoots up quite a bit? The difference between a $50 and $100 deductible is $150. So I break even if I take it to service three times.

Zero deductible is important when you come in with a intermittent problem.. especially electric. Also in the case of multiple warranty issues as some predatory dealerships will try to make you pay a deductible for each problem. Key fobs are incredibly expensive both to buy and program in case of damage or loss. Even if you have a great relationship with your local selling dealership what if you break down 1,000 miles from home?
Enhanced first day rental is vital if you don't have a second vehicle simply because the use of a 'loaner' is at the DISCREASSION of the dealership..If they don't have one or don't want to give you one..good luck. Enhanced also gives you $60.00 a day instead of $40.00. In Florida that's important. Also many times you have to wait for parts or simply be scheduled for repairs. Again if you have a second vehicle you can use it's not as important.

I second Premium, the LED, Key FOB, and Enhanced rental.

Would scope the deductible to meet your fiscal pain-point.

Highly recommend the minimum length of the extended warranty covers any loan + 6-months.
