Need help with disabling cornering fog lights on 2022 XLT

Hi all,

I would like to disable cornering function on my fogs. They come on when I turn the steering wheel or use turn signal. I have a 2022 XLT with LED reflectors and LED fogs. I want to keep DRL on the fog and headlights. I would like to just manually turn the fogs off or on when needed. I went to forscan today and there are multiple settings on the BCM. Not sure what I need to edit

Someone disabled cornering fog lamps using below values for 2023 Platinum. Mine is XLT I feel like its different. Any suggestion?

Any chance I can edit below? If so, what do I need to select?

If my memory serves me correctly, setting the “fog lamp usage” to “fog only” disabled the cornering lamp feature on my truck. I also have an xlt with the led reflectors and fog lights. It’s been almost a year since I did it.

Awesome! Glad to hear. The cornering light feature drove me nuts too. Made it look like it was glitching out lol.

I wish I had proper cornering lights on my MY22 XLT 302A. When I turn the corner the whole corner is black. Can't see anything. I'm almost straight on the next street before I can see the shoulder of the road.

Did you change the fog lamp usage from "corner" to "fog" in ForScan?

So many features and options ... I personally really like the cornering feature w/ fog lamps. I live in a suburban area and that extra light to the side really helps on a dark street ... Longer term I think Ford would one up everyone by providing all truck owners with an app so we can pick and choose options without going into Forscan and the potential of making mistakes.

Surely you are not talking dumb ass proof. It would help me to have specific options on the screen. Turning green button on and off is something I am close to mastering.

But foreskin, in my estimation, is an accident waiting to happen for those of us that failed 5th grade trigonometry.

Forscan is simple and easy. I was afraid of it until I tried it. Super easy. Just save as built and make changes you want.
