22’ XLT 302a with 360 cameras, did not replace ACM. Just added antenna and splitter and registered radio ID with Sirius.

The only time I’ve heard of something like that is when the B&O amplifier needed the fuse pulled to reset it.

You can always revert the change to the ACM and reset Sync (a full reset of all connected features) and try again.

I have a single cab so yours may be different.

The basic steps were pull the coat hanger off, it is held on by a T20 Torx (if i remember it right). To see the torx you pry the tab from the top of the opening. Not the bottom.

Then i pulled the weather strip down for the door.

Next just gently pry the headliner away from the pillar trim.

After that it was just gently pull it down enough to see / access the bolt. Think it's a 10mm.

Remove and reinstall. Not bad, but a bit scary with the bending of the headliner.
I did these steps but in my crew cab I did not remove the coat hook, I just pulled down the headliner enough to get at the bolt. I used a ratcheting wrench to remove the bolt by doing this I didnt need as much room, just enough to get my hand up and in there.

Need to know the specs of your truck and if you replaced the ACM. Did you run a PMI on the new module if it was replaced?
first of all . I want to say thank you for starting this post. I stumbled across your post yesterday and decided to join this forum. again, THANK YOU!!

My truck is a 2022 XLT 302A. I added the B&O sound system option and a few other things not related to the entertainment/audio system. The ACM in my truck had a SiriusXM radio ID so I just enabled it using Forscan. I pulled the ACM head unit from the dash to do a visual of the sticker and verified that the radio ID on the screen matched the one on the sticker.

I have an old Sirius XM antenna from another vehicle plugged directly in to the coax connector (yellow/Curry FAKRAM) on the back of the ACM. I activated through Sirius Customer Service and started receiving audio content. Once the Sirius XM radio updated thats when the volume display stopped working.

Any ideas?

My guess would be a typo in FORscan if it happen after adding XM.
Double check your APIM changes.

when you say you added B&O, do you mean it was a factor add on or did you do it yourself? If so, I’m also looking at adding b&o. The non b&o system is absolutely terrible lol.

Have you master reset Sync? There are other changes in the as built to accompany the B&O that you probably need to check.

So not 100% sure but will know this weekend when I install the factory antenna and splitter. My truck is a XLT 302A with the factory 7 speaker. I looked up a 2023 that has the exact same specs as mine but has SiriusXM. I noticed on the Forscan changes where XLT22s went from 8 to A...mine has a 0 and the 2023 has a 2. I'm thinking I just need to adjust my Forscan settings to fix the volume. I'm assuming yours XLT22 have the B&O system?

Yea it’s different for the B&O trucks like mine, that’s why the qualifier is there to enable SDARS, but verify your starting configuration so you aren’t enabling or disabling something you don’t need to.

I don't think it's a typo in Forscan. I have the thing working for a week without issue. It wasn't until I activated the Sirius XM radio yesterday when this started happening. However, I'll double check. Can you confirm what Hextets need to be for the 7D0 and the 727 address registers? There are several on the spreadsheet.

I may also try resetting the entire system and starting over. I saved my as-built configuration to a file on my computer so It should be a matter of reloading it and writing it to memory.?

When you say reset everthing, do you me do the Master reset on the screen or is there some reset function in Forscan that I am unaware of?

Also, to clarify.... I ordered the B&O 8 speaker system from the factory. My opinion.. It's not worth it. The sound quality isn't all that great.

This is similar to my issue, it was working before i tried to activate it with SXM. Once i activated it things went wrong.

Yes, you can just load your backup and restore your AsBuilt configuration. Also, yes there is a module reset in Forscan to reset them. Once I restored my AsBuilt configuration and reset both the APIM and ACM my volume number came back. I'm hoping that changing mine to the 2 will correct the issue for me. Also if you do the reset in Forscan make sure you wait the 10 or 15 seconds it states.

yes, I"ve master reset sync a few times with no luck. I also sent a refresh signal to my SiriusXM receiver. still nothing.

Would you happen to know what are the "other changes". so far I have only made two, one to the APIM and one to the ACM.

I was under the impression you added the B&O yourself. There are ACM output differences there. If it's factory don't worry about it.

What did you originally have at 727-01-01 for the first and second digits? Do you only have the audio control issue on the SXM band? What about Am/Fm?

@XLT22,
I restored the as-built APIM and ACM configuration back to the original, and reset both modules.

I then went in and changed the 7D0-01-01 first digit from 8 to A and the 727-01-01 first digit from B to 3. I reset both modules and, voila, my volume control display started working again. Thank you for your suggestion to revert back to original config and try again.

The first hextet in my 7D0-01-01 register is A081 and the first hextet in my 727-01-01 register is 30FF.
(not sure if they are hextets, but they sure look like a 12bit Ethernet hexidecimal MAC address)

Now the problem I have is with the "now playing" in the My View on my driver's side dashboard. When I'm in SiriusXM the display shows as "Audio Off" or the last AM/FM channel (see attached photos, look at them in sequence). I'm wondering if I need to change the second digit of the 7D0-01-01 to something else? I noticed there's a tuner type (TT) of Dual Tuner.

Right now my second digit of 7D0-01-01 is | 0 - FSM Fader in Sound Menu * TT Single Tuner * TMC Not Available (Disable TMC Menu) * DAB Not Available|

Just out of curiosity, what is your second digit? Also, what's TMC and DAB do i need to enable these as well?

Sorry, the second digit in my 727-01-01 is 0, the full hextet is 30FF. 0 = NDR HD Radio * DABT Not Available. What's DABT? Should I change this digit, also?
