So ive done all in post 1, I have the antenna with the Curry color and red.

Not trying to add nav.

N. Please note if you have replaced the ACM, you are best served by running a PMI in FDRS *before* doing anything with FORSCAN. Select "no" in FDRS when prompted for the condition of the module and complete the PMI.

Where is the PMI and FDRS?

7DO-01-01 *xxx-xxxx-xx This value went from 8 to A.Yours may vary just make sure to enable SDARS .

727-01-01 *xxx-xxxx-xx This value went from B to 3. Same as before, enable SDARS but check your as-built FIRST.

Reset the APIM and you should be all set. You should see the tuner option for Sirius and have access to the preview channel.

Thought my radio says audio off an cannot get into audio menu.

Changed value here no change. Changed the 0005 to a 8.

WHere is the PCM run? Im so frustrated at the moment,

FDRS is not in forscan. It is its own program.

Did you have to replace your ACM?

So right now I swapped the receiver module for the one in the post above. Which has XM, not the APIM, APIM IS below the radio correct?
right now I have no Audio and no option to get to the menu when pressing audio.

My thoght in the morning is to reset to AB on forscan and then go change modules as per a as built i found for a XLT with Sirius.

Thoughts>>> I just dont know why I have NOTHING Now.

Yes, the APIM is below the ACM. I can't comment on why you have no audio option but I believe you stated you replaced the ACM? Did your current ACM not have the XM ID number on it?

I have the basic 7 speaker...below are the changes you need to make to the APIM and the ACM. Make sure you reset each module after you make the changes in Forscan. If you have one of the B&O systems the changes will be different.

APIM
7DO-01-01-2xxx-xxxx-xx

ACM
727-01-01-3xxx-xxxx-xx

You can do this one last once you get XM working.
IPC - to get the "Show what's playing in your instrument cluster:
720-05-01-1xxx-xxxx-xxxx

Did you save the as built file from your original radio? If not you have to swap your radio and save your as built. Then install the new one and load your saved as built to it. Then mike the 2 forscan changes.
Or manually change every line to match your as built

so I swapped the receiver - changed the as built and no audio.
Should I swap back the receiver to non Sirius unit factory then load the As built save it. Reset then install the Sirius unit ?
Im lost where to go right now and frustrated.

couldn’t I just load the as built from the internet thru forscan as built?

You can try what “pelon222” stated but make sure you back up both ABs before overwriting. On post 10 by XLT22 he did state having to run a PMI in FDRS. This is not a free software you have to pay for this and need a mongoose adapter. I’d try the AB change first just take your time.

I think I’ve figured out where you’re going wrong. You’re skipping steps and getting ahead of yourself. Do this:

If you did not save your original ACM as built, reinstall it and save that.

If you saved it before removing, use the Load All and Write All function in Forscan.

Reset the module and make the necessary changes. Reset It again and test it.

Like I said earlier, if you don’t know how to do that then please read the Forscan thread or watch a YouTube video of how to use it. The actual changes to activate satellite radio are very simple.

So I’ll keep the new Sirius acm in.

default the asbuilt, write To the truck.

then go to reset acm in the reset functions.

change values and mentioned in your first post, see if Sirius comes up?

If you need to get your self back to as built data this here is the link i spoke of earlier.

https://www.motorcraftservice.com/AsBuilt

There is more info that I placed in post #59 of this tread .

Xlt22 might be a good idea to place the ford link on post #1 for future reference?
