Turn the radio off and back on with the power button to see if that fixes it. If not, revert your changes and start over. Don’t attempt to copy an as built from another truck.

So I ordered the antenna that was mentioned in the first post, but I don’t see a blue connector on it. This is the wrong antenna to replace with?

just the curry and purple…..

I did get the splitter too maybe that does it?

I would suggest reading the first post entirely again to make sure all steps have been covered.

You will disassemble the antenna you remove from the truck in order to remove the GPS chip with blue lead. Connect that to the body harness as it was before and you will not have any DTC issue in the TCM. You won't use the blue connector on that splitter unless you add a navigation APIM.

XLT22, yes my plan is to just revert back the two changes I made based off the first post and then apply them again. I don't know anything about FORSCAN so I don't want to do to much lol.

If you want to be sure of your original settings Somewhere back in this thread I gave a link to Fords site.

You enter Your truck’s vin and you will get all the settings as built from the day it left the factory.

It can be also used to compare to a truck that has an option you wish to add by entering the vin of that truck.

tools needed are a small torx bit , the same that are on the bottom of the new antenna,. I used a drill press to enlarge the hole that the antenna wire runs thru, enough that you can get the connector thru the hole. connect the blue connectors in the roof , tape it oriented the same way on top of your headliner. I put my antenna in a small baggie before taping it onto the headiner , probably not a needed step i just happened to have one handy at the time.

The blue male connector does come off the actual terminal itself making the job much easier. A small screwdriver and a pick of some sort will release the tabs. It pops back on.

I guess I missed this in the first post, but how do you get the extension cable without a full length cable for the antenna to the dash module I ordered this cable specd friggin short

I actually checked and I ordered a 15 m cable which should be almost 30 feet. Guess it’s me and this is something that was wrong and I’ll figure it out .

It’s measured in centimeters from that website. If you order 45cm, that’s about 17 inches.

Are you trying to restore both Xm and Nav (swapping APIM)?

When changing anything with forescan you should always copy the original settings.

I could be wrong but I do not think anyone has gotten nav to work 100pecent?

So ive done all in post 1, I have the antenna with the Curry color and red.

Not trying to add nav.

N. Please note if you have replaced the ACM, you are best served by running a PMI in FDRS *before* doing anything with FORSCAN. Select "no" in FDRS when prompted for the condition of the module and complete the PMI.

Where is the PMI and FDRS?


7DO-01-01 *xxx-xxxx-xx This value went from 8 to A.Yours may vary just make sure to enable SDARS .

727-01-01 *xxx-xxxx-xx This value went from B to 3. Same as before, enable SDARS but check your as-built FIRST.

Reset the APIM and you should be all set. You should see the tuner option for Sirius and have access to the preview channel.

Thought my radio says audio off an cannot get into audio menu.

Changed value here no change. Changed the 0005 to a 8.

WHere is the PCM run? Im so frustrated at the moment,
