So being one who takes the time to change their own wheels over from summer to winter, and believes the lasting illusion that the little wheel lock lug nut will deter a would-be thief one from steeling my wheels in the middle of the night, I put a little too much pressure on the McGard wheel key and sheered the ‘key’ off. Thankfully it was the last wheel change so I’m not stuck for now, hoping no flats in my future.
l tried to register on the McGard website, and I have the key, but they want some sort of ID card I don’t have. Anyone experienced this before, any help to navigate to a replace key would help! Thanks!
