This truck has more crappy electrical gremlins than Windows ME did…
I can not for the life of me figure out how the hell to make this nonsense - tires are not low - stop…

please tell me there’s some menu setting somewhere to turn this off and that I don’t have to do the nonsense press start without foot on brake, press hazard 6 times, etc etc.

I think the lowest you can run your tires is 35 PSI. Check what the door sticker has on it. What tires are you running?

35psi is the recommended tire pressure.

Factory sensors? I doubt reprogramming them at dealer will help as all sensors are having the same issue.

I believe that you can change the default tire pressure with Forscan, but I'm curious why you say 29 psi isn't low. With a stock pressure of 35 psi, you're ~20% below where you should be and that isn't good for tire wear, tire health, handling or fuel economy.

29 psi is low though? Air them up.

29psi seems low. what is the actual reading? if they match, I would air up.

Took this pic on a really cold morning. I could have taken the same pic with it showing 32 which is normal cold temp.

You have to top them up in winter. I'd bring up pressures in the 2-3 PSI below factory 'cold' even for winter. Do you monitor it throughout your drive? I couldn't see those coming up to 'warm' pressures which can hit 40 psi or better.

Ok. I’ll air up tomorrow (cool day not cold) and see if the pop up stops.
Or do you have to some sort of reset after you air up?

I believe you have to put at least 35 PSI in the tires to clear the warning. Then drop them down to above 30 PSI as a minimum. I have LT's on my truck and the sticker says 41 PSI. I can drop them down to 35 without getting the warning. I get a warning when they hit 30 PSI.

Why do you run them so low? Just wears the tire out faster on the outer edges and doesn't improve traction.

Just have to drive for a short time. Updates about every 4 or 5 minutes.

Gotta remember, cold tire psi is cold tire psi. If you keep the truck in a garage, you’ll have less of a loss. If the ambient is really cold, you’re going to have low pressure. so when it’s 15 here, if my pressure shows 25 psi, my first stop is to air up. At 29, you’ll still be under inflated even with driving.

The door placard will tell you where to keep the air pressure. I believe 35 is where mine was.

Not sure why you would want to run lower cold tire pressure than the door sticker says. You will have less mileage and may wear tires prematurely.

Your tires ARE low. Cold temperature is what is spec'd. If you want to run them low, that's your choice, and you can reset the target pressures. But they are indeed low. Air those things up!
