I just noticed this the other day and was really surprised with the amount of marking/scratches on my b pillar from the seatbelt hitting when I take it off. I have only had the truck about a year.

I’ve seen it suggested to put the loop side of Velcro on there to stop rattling and that would probably prevent further damage for me, but itd need to be a pretty large and unsightly piece!

Mostly curious if this is happened to others!

I don't let mine fly ..
I usually have a plastic laundry line thing holding the webbing so it does not pull om my shoulder
The pass side stays folded and tucked in to stop rattles on plastic

My 2021 definitely does. It also has dog scratches on the rear door handles, and a few paint scratches from hauling yard debris. Plus I got hit from behind and need a new rear bumper. And the driver's door mirror has cracks in the housing and turn signal lens.

my wife throws hers off like she is about to bail out of a burning vehicle. no amount of politely asking her to knock it off helps.

I was wondering where those marks came from on my used purchase.

None on mine. But I don’t sling it off to the next county either.
