I know how to remove it. When you unlock it, and open it halfway, it lifts right off the hinge pins.

I didn’t remove it before loading though (lack of experience!) and then at home it was hard to open it with the full weight of the door holding it shut and no handle (disassembled and packed inside).
LoL, oh no... Hmmm
Anyway to tip it up and swing the door open?

The safe ended up being pretty easy to move with the door still on, so it worked out. But yeah if it had been much heavier then I'd have figured something out :)

While this one can be bolted to the floor, the concrete pad my home is built on has tensioned rods running through with a warning not to cut or drill into it so I have to figure something else out.
It can be done... I just cut holes in a pad in sections to run new plumbing to a kitchen remodel I'm doing. We got in a pipe locating guy and he found the locations on all of the cables in the pad (around 3' x 3' grid) which we marked out with chalk. After consulting with our engineer we cut sections out never getting any closer than 10 inches from a cable. Was a bit of fun digging and doing plumbing etc through smallish holes but we did what many said was impossible.

We were also able to check the individual cable depths and found some were quite near the bottom of the pad.

Point is, if you get it scanned, I'm sure you would have a couple of locations that are safe to drill the safe down to....

Mapping existing reinforcement in concrete, was one of the things we'd do at the engineering firm I worked at. Necessary for the preliminary design work, evaluating any add ons, remodeling etc. of lrg. commercial buildings.

So, yes, the scanners and the service exists. And as with all tech, probably better and cheaper than what we used from ... I don't know, I was doing it in the 80s and the machine looked old then.

Hell, by now, there might be an app for that. ?

Our guy just used a little portable scanner like this.... was great as we were also able to locate a beam which unfortunately led us to find another separately poured beam underneath the 1st one, blocking our intended route for the plumbing... which meant digging it out and scanning the beams themselves to locate all the cable depths so we could core through it (and THAT was another challenge in a small hole :)....)

I dont think I have that Hot Wheels yet... is that part of the RedLine Racers editions?

Am I the only one that saw this pic and audibly made the "vroom vroom" sound...?

I'm assuming the store I'm buying it from is using a forklift to load it in.

I'm getting it out by rolling it on PVC pipes to the edge of the bed off the tailgate, and then lowering it to the floor with two people with cargo straps.

My question is if the tailgate can take 450 lbs on the tailgate edge in the open position as the weight is slid off.
Get more people to help!!!

I had to laugh at the guys who drive half tons and were scared of loading a safe. Time to trade in for an Accord boys. Well done. Why am I such a hater? :ROFLMAO:
you mean ridgeline right? hah

yeah a lot of thought went into this thread. I was gonna rent a small utility trailer until my buddy offered his to me. Dolly to load and unload. weighted about 500-600lbs.
