Probably way over thinking this and searched and couldn’t find anything.

ordered the Livernois tune, uploaded the trucks stock data and sent the tune request in. In the request form they ask for modifications - I put in there a CAI intake, intercooler and CVF hot/cold pipes.

I bought the intercooler and pipes but haven’t installed them yet. Was planning to around when I install the tune.

is the tune they sent so customized that what I put in the modifications section changes it? Or is the eboost 93 tune for my truck/engine the same regardless?

just worried if it is that specific and I put those items in the modifications section, are they using the stock/base data under the assumption that the data includes those mods then, when I add the mods with the tune, it’ll throw it off…

probably 1,000% over thinking this

It depends on the mods. 99.9% positive those mods you listed do not impact the tune file they’ll send you.

If there was a maf in the cai, it would be a different ball game

"CVF hot/cold pipes" if by hot pipes you mean downpipes then I'd wait to flash the tune.

You can load up their tuning device and still run on the stock configuration. You have to send them that file for the initial tune, then send them a datalog run for a revision. When you receive the initial tune (also known as bench tune or off the shelf tune), don't flash the tune until you install those parts. Just stick with the stock one. The initial tune will remain on the device.

Appreciate it. Below is what I’m waiting to install, still learning a lot here but I assume the hot ones are the downpipes. Did jump the gun this am and loaded the tune. Will probably call them this am to talk through. Yea ideally I can get the pipes and intercooler installed, drive a bit, send a data log to them and get a revised tune if it’s needed

to @TheGoatman ‘s point, I wonder if that modification box is just to see if you’ve got anything major changed (bigger turbos or whatever) and if it’s just minor mods they send you a “boxed” tune.

Yea just got off the phone with them. Guy I spoke to also happened to have same PB truck w/ their tune and same modifications.

Tune is the same w/ smaller mods like the CAI, intercooler, hot/cold pipes etc. Only time I’d need to reach to have them modify would be if I did major mods; bigger turbos, MAF etc.

appreciate the help on it!!!

Ah, so they don't crank up the boost with downpipes ?

3.5 is speed density motor so things like easier breathing / better cooling will just freely provide the power the restrictions are creating. Even more power to be had blending in some e85 if you have it available to max out the OAR. The computer is watching the torque and stock on the PB it won't allow more than 600ftlbs based on my own data logging.
