King Ranch Floor Mats - Suggestions?

Bought a '22 F-150 King Ranch Screw because I really like the java interior color. Stock floor mats are unacceptable. Looking for suggestions. Two comments first:

1) The WeatherTechs in our '18 SCREW (tan) have not held up well. The fit was OK, and the protection adequate, but they stained badly and clean poorly. Might not notice on a black matt, but tan? Not good.
2) We moved to Tuxmat for the Pacifica Hybrid and the Tesla. Simply great matts. Pretty expensive, but fantastistic covererage and fit, both even better than WT. Support is great too. Except they don't seem to make any matts for anything that aren't black. So no-go.

What's the suggestion for matching mats for the King Ranch?

I like my premium weather techs in the brown color. they match perfectly. a year old and I will say they are better material over the old top of their line stuff.

Good to know - thanks! I see your KR is the lighter color version. The '21 and '22 are more chocolate. I'm assuming that's the tan, yes?

For the next guy I'm going to document what I learn re: who offers mats in a darker brown suitable for a King Ranch or Platinum w/brown interior.

WeatherTech = Yes
Tuxmat = No
Husky = Weatherbeater only, and only light tan
3d Maxpider = No
Smartliner = Tan at best, and that's greyed out at this time.

Did you cut out the section that would hang over the KR in the doorsill or did it come that way? I have seen WeatherTech mats that cover up the logo doorsill in Platinums and KR.

I cut it. WeatherTech was thinking of us tho. they design them to be cut.!!

That looks more like the material they use for the OEM liners from Ford. Not as stiff as the WeatherTech prior gen. No way you could cut those older ones with scissors. I think I like what I see. I have a KR on order. Currently with a Plat. I use the OEM mats and I like them a lot, but they only come in black. I want a match for the King. This appears to check the boxes. Thanks for sharing.

I have Husky liners in my KR and they are dark brown.

Well first off, congratz on getting the truck you were looking for!
Second, I Believe we have a mat sponser on this site.
I seem to recall a post of his and one of his designers was replying to people's questions and suggestions.

if he/she surfaces I’d not only suggest cocoa mats, I’d buy a better matt when it was available.

I do wish they were available in brown, but honestly, since it's the floor and the Tuxmats have such a classy look, I did them anyway.

Functionally they keep the truck so protected. But you already know that.

mine are ford OEM rubber mats that come with the KR, pretty happy with them
but next set will be tuxmats, everyone i see with them, i am impressed
the carpets are upstairs in a flat bag?? in fact the last three KR vehicles the carpets are upstairs in a flat bag, some are massaged for other things like the carpet protection for right under the front seat where the oe rubber and weather techs stop. i move my feet around a lot on long drives and that area tends to get dirty
i also kept the oe rubber ones from the the exp and put weather techs in it and used the oe rubber in the edge ... ?

Drawing closure to this, I've laid down the tan and cocoa floormats as well as black tuxmats from my Tesla. My opinion, worth no more than you paid for it is:

1) Cocoa it is.
2) Tan is just too light, and while I was hoping to bring some lighter tones into the truck tan matts just looked "Ordered the wrong matts".
3) Black went the wrong way (for me) and made it darker. I went pretty far out of my way to get a brown interior to boot. Worse, Tuxmatt has made it clear to me they have no interest in any matt that's not black.

In they go, onto updating the truck's software.
