Jerking when switching drive modes

Has anyone experienced this issue before ? When switching drive modes ( mainly in slippery, deep sand & snow) the truck jerks a lot when it goes forward and turns.

Issue is how easy it is to on accident hit the four-wheel drive button when switching drive modes. Multiple times when switching from normal to sport I've won accident pressed the four h button making it started shifting process while at interstate speeds. But depending on what you're doing if you were to shift it from normal to sport while slightly on the accelerator there would be a jerk since sport mode would most likely downshift putting you in a more aggressive gear
