Rough shift 1-3 and drive modes 10R80

Hey guys so I’m new to the site bought a 2018 3.5 ecoboost back in June. First week seemed fine then all a sudden if the truck was 140 or so degrees and less there would be a rough shift 1-3. Tried different drive modes and went into neutral like it was confused….but if I let the truck warm up it’ll shift like butter and I can use all drive modes..pretty weird stuff. Would that be a software update issue? I haven’t found anything showing that’s been done, sync 3 hasn’t since 2018 as well so that tells me a lot. Just seeing what I could possibly do. Dealerships are the devil.
