issues with removing spare

You have said you pull camper trailers all the time. When I am pulling my Airstream I am taking along two spare tires, the one in back of the PowerBoost and a 16" spare under the front of the Airstream. To save weight I have considered leaving one spare at home when pulling a trailer. Since the F-150 spare won't fit in the well of the Airstream, would the 16" spare on the Airstream keep the F-150 going until I could find a tire shop?

I'm new to full size trucks and towing, but I can't imagine leaving a spare tire behind for the sake of camping convenience. Something else would have to go. But hey I'm 57 and remember well the flats and breakdowns in the middle of nowhere before cell phones were even invented. One night spent on the side of I-40 outside of Rolla, Mo. in my Chevy Luv pickup comes to mind lol.

Emphatically, no. There's a 3.3" difference in diameter.

I run about a puncture a year, a function at least partially due to my refusal to run poor riding, overweight LT's on gravel roads often surfaced with crushed ledge...and having a heavy foot, and partially from frequenting construction sites at work. Carry an ARB plug kit and Viair compressor at all times. Everywhere around here is away from mainstream access to roadside assitance.

If you drive your truck near jobsites you bess keep that spare, I’ve blown 2 tires since I bought mine, one was on the highway. Still very commonplace as it ever was if you put on miles, I’m at 72,000 miles coming up on 3 years in.
