Appreciate the help and insight on this. Yes I know I can still do a lift and tires with CCD, it just limits which setup I can do and the height. I would prefer just to swap out all suspension and go with Fox coil overs or some other brand, but with the CCD that isn't an option unfortunately, or from what I have read it isn't. I live in Georgia where it is typically warm, but during the winter time a heated steering wheel is nice occassionally, so that's a shame it doesn't or won't come with it.

I know there are a good bit of threads regarding lifting a Powerboost too and how it kills fuel economy, probably worse than a standard Ecoboost, so I am not looking forward to that either. Yes I know all trucks will experience some decrease, but going from my current 2020 Ram Ecodiesel on 37's getting 22-23 MPG to somewhere around 15-17 is a tough pill to swallow.

I imagine that with some wizardry, we could remove CCD from these trucks.

Forscan and/or fooling the sensors on all 4 corners.

Imagine removing the CCD dampers and tie wrapping them to the chassis plugged in. Then installing any dampers you wanted.
Sure, it's not feasible physically speaking, but the truck would be unaware. So we just need a way to accomplish the same thing but with only the electronic portion of the CCD hardware.

Or, fool the whole thing with software editing?

I have ccd. It makes the truck feel too soft and floaty, and doesn’t play well with airbags. Wish I didn’t click that box, but it is what it is.

now if @Ford Motor Company would allow us to manually select what settings we want like the raptor then the sport suspension setting of the CCD with “normal” setting for engine and transmission, would be tolerable
I can't imagine how "floaty" it would feel compared to my 23 Lariat and the 05 XLT. You get to 80 mphs and you just float. The 05 you can hit 90-95 on the open road with no traffic and not even notice you're going that fast.
Only reason I know this is we were the last car through after a pretty bad wreck on the interstate. Apparently everyone ahead of us got off somewhere before the open stretch and going down the mountain. It was about 11 at night and pitch black. There were no cars on the other side and nothing around me at all. I just happened to look down and saw I was sitting on 95 pretty as you ever seen.

2023 was the first year heated steering wheel and multi contour sets were not available due to the chip shortage. 2024 will have them
Multicontour seats were deleted early 2022 model.

The multi contour seats would normally have a massage feature but none of the new trucks have those either as of now.Heated wheel seems to be hit or miss. That’s one reason I like my 21 as it has nothing missing
Agreed! I also have an early build 2021 Limited Powerboost. I wonder if they put in any of the wiring or controls to be able to install the CCD suspension now?

I thought the 22 limited came standard with CCD . My wife love the massaging seats … mine is the last fully chipped Limited my Dealership received … just wish I was happier with it.

My 22 Limited came with the CCD, aka Lincoln Continental ride, and the multicontour seat. The ride took a bit to get used to but agree having the option to adjust directly would be nice. I did pull the rear blocks and have the overloaded scale issue as well but have not messed with it any further. Those electronic shocks do provide some limitation I partially regret. Loved my last 2 Platinums with some Bilstien 5100 leveling shocks.

Good luck with your mods!
