I've never seen it actually go to full "max AC" style cooling. It will cool, but not Max AC.

Define "Max A/C", because full blower alone is not MAX AC. MAX AC should be full blower, low temp, and also circulation ON, and my super duper automatic climate control never, ever, turns circulation ON, which of course helps cooling the vehicle. If I turn it ON manually it goes out of AUTO.
If I remote start mine sitting outside right now, both fans go into high and it sounds like a jet ready to take off (they slow down after hitting the start button, it's VERY rare to hear both engine fans on max). Remote start climate always defaults to max AC (recirc on = "max AC") when cooling, however its set point is based upon the 3 settings which really don't matter (think the range is 68-72 degrees) when it's 100+ in the truck. I wish they put the rear window as an option to crack and just blow out the hot air initially, you know making use of ALL of the electronics and sensors onboard.
I see the exact opposite. When I get in my truck with a remote start, the fans are on medium and recirc is off (except I have mine hardwired to on... but the is beside the point). As soon as I crank it and hit the "max ac" button I can hear the fans more than double in speed. I guess I should go double check and make sure an OTA didn't mess with my settings.
Hrm, that's odd. Both of my fords have the same logic in them w/ remote start and HVAC controls. I've done nothing to their settings. Is there forscan changes to alter the behavior of remote start climate?

Not sure how to post an As-Built, but here is the VIN:Can confirm mine does full max AC on remote start too when set on auto in dash settings. Check settings and if you still can't get it going post your asbuilt because your truck is weird.
