Hello, I have a 2023 F150 xlt with the powerboost.
Is there a way to save my drive mode say in eco and when I start my truck it automatically starts up in that mode?

I have been driving in ECO and Normal to compare MPG. Its absolutely the same over a one month period. I am not sure why its even an option. Eco makes the thottle and shifting feel lethargic. Another fancy option to sell trucks but doesnt do anything.

in reality for me, drivign in ECO mode on long highway drives , it tends to gradually bring mpg up above 20 at real world highway speeds

and yes eco makes the throttle sloooooow in its response, but it does tend to hold gears longer and let boost build up vice downshifting on hills and long overpasses

i have a routine road that is 65 and 6 miles to town
if i drive in eco, it will get to tenth fast and not downshift all the way to town up and down a few hills, it will build boost vice dropping a gear
if i leave it in normal, it will downshift to 8th several times and build almost no boost

My 5.0 has not had those results but I can see it managing gears on a long road trip for better avg mpg. Just not working effectively for me in my driving habits. I saw 20mg in both eco and normal.

Not sure if one of the features on your trucks different from mine but when I put the system in Eco mode, then when I go to restart later, I get a pop- up on the center cluster that asks if I want to return to Eco and you hit the “ok” button on the steering wheel.

as some others have stated though, I seem to get no change in my mileage using Eco VS standard.

Eco giveth (quicker upshifts and higher gears)

Eco taketh away (keeping higher gears and creating boost)

I’ve determined for me personally there isn’t much, or any, gains.

+1 on this.

My truck does the same thing....if out of Normal...say in Eco of Sport, when I shut it off, I'm prompted if I want to stay in that mode.
