Is the Ford Premium Maintenance plan worth it?

Is the Maintenance plan worth it? Granger Ford quoted me $1885 for 7yr/100k | 7.5k interval, full synthetic. I have a Powerboost. It seems like most people don't buy it. Is it not a good value?

I'm planning to buy the 7yr or 8yr/100k ESP as that seems to be the sweet spot for price.

My concerns with the maintenance plan are - how frequently will they change oil? Is it by the oil life monitor in the truck? That's too long. They cover shocks etc, but I'm assuming after market suspension components aren't covered. So it might not be very useful for some people.

Ah okay. Yeah I plan to buy that. I'm just curious if the regular maintenance plan has value or if it's better to be skipped.

if you can change your own oil--I would pass on that, save yourself 1800 for something else

I did it for my 2013 and will do it again. I would do 5000 mile intervals. It’s not just oil changes. Includes brakes wiper blades and all scheduled maintenance. When I had my 100k mile scheduled maintenance done it would have cost me about $800 just for that one alone
