I have the option of getting Mopar Multicare with my truck at delivery. I'm not familiar with the program and I was wondering if anyone here has bought and it what their experience with it has been?

This would be $700 for 7 years, unlimited mileage, zero deductible. I don't really care for the windshield repair, that's easy to do but the dent removal, wheel coverage, and tire and wheel road hazard coverage looks useful.

Are you buying a used vehicle from a dodge dealer?

Nope, new F-150.
Yea, I've never heard of this and it kinda sounds like you're trolling us ;)

Anyway, I'm sure it's just "Branded" as Mopar and offered by a 3rd party.

Mopar is Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram.

But in this case it's just vehicle protection program. Waste of money, IMO. Your insurance covers windshield repair already. Maybe worth it for wheel repair alone?

I hadn't heard of it either. I've attached the flyer from the dealer. Not trolling!

Yeah, and the odds of curb rash are low on a truck anyway. This would be my first truck, so its an assumption on my part.

Yeah, as others have earlier stated, its just a way to get more money from you. Run away from those appearance protection packages.

Just a heads up for those that do not know. Granger is Granger Motors Inc. They sell Ford and Jeep, Chrysler, RAM, etc. at dealerships right next to each other. So I would imagine they sell the Mopar Multicare and of course they do sell the Ford ESP plans.

I didn't look into it because I didn't want it, but I have to imagine the fact that it's from Mopar is not an issue in covering the Ford; It's likely just a general appearance protection plan branded as Mopar.

I don't see the staff at Granger selling a plan for the F-150 that you wouldn't be able to use on your vehicle. That would be the end of their reputation they've spent years building.

I trust Granger. My question was about how useful the plan itself is. Doesn't seem too useful to me.
