Date ordered; December 9, 2020
Production completed; March 1st
Released to ship: March 2nd
Estimated Delivery Date; March 20th

On March 19th the tracker adjusted to a new estimated delivery date of March 27th.
March 27th, Tracker shows one day to delivery.
March 28th, Tracker shows two days to delivery.
March 29th, Tracker shows three days to delivery.
March 30th, Tracker now shows 15 days to delivery.

By now I am beyond annoyed, depressed, ready to eat a pound of nails! Decide to take the boat out to get my mind off "the truck". Bad decision! Weatherman lied, his 2-3' forecast was 3-5' in real life. Better than sitting at home I thought until my fishing partner gets sea sick! Long ride out, long ride back. When we get back in cell service range my phone starts updating with missed messages and calls. Most are from my dealer, guess what was delivered last night and is waiting for you to pick up!

The morale to this rant is if I had it to do over I probably would not look at the Tracker as it is obliviously not a priority to Ford and more or less a toy for us the consumer. The highs and lows created by frequent visits to check on the "status" just leads to excessive consumption of adult beverages! For those who are in that dreaded waiting period, it will come chip shortage or not, it will come!

I feel your pain. the tracker originally said March 10th then March 20th then March 29th and now April 5th. The worst part is it has been 40 miles from the dealer since March 16th. I closed the deal and gave them my trade in March 31st to keep my $1500 pco and then April 1st I got $2000 pco. Then today the dealer called me said my truck came in and they had it all cleaned up ready to go. I got to the dealer checked out the outside everything looked great opened the door and it was the wrong color interior. Exact same build as mine but different color interior different vin number luckily it wasn’t the same interior I would have driven away with the wrong truck. Not happy.
