Infotainment screen cleaning / protecting

The big screen is nice but gets gross with fingerprints quickly. What’s the best and safest way to clean these? I used Zeiss sunglasses wipes on my last one but this thing is so big that 1 wipe doesn’t get the job done.

Any thoughts on the aftermarket screen protectors? I generally avoid screen protectors as they don’t look or feel as good as the naked screen (add condom joke here) but I’d consider one if there’s a significant advantage.

Spigen makes some of the best screen protectors available. You can find cheaper but these are the best IMO. I have an anti glare one for my 12 inch screen and it is great.

I found the screen scratching very easily. I also put on a screen protector. Been very happy with it.

I put on a glass screen protector from Amazon. Works great been on for 2 years still looks great. Easy to clean

I strongly suggest a quality screen protector. These guys have been in the screen protector biz for ages. This one is a glare reducing variant. The 12" screen in our trucks isn't as robust as the larger screens that use much harder glass.

Tried the Spigen, the "anti-glare" made it like looking through scotch tape. Blurry, no thanks. Love their products though.

This one was only $12.99, glass and crystal clear. Minimal fingerprints and it cleans so easily.

I had a decal Applicator that was a huge help and got all the bubbles out. Tip: start by placing the glass on the bottom shelf of the display, center and gently press up from there. This will help avoid the bottom corners getting in a bind and breaking. Also, make sure you don't leave any cleaner residue or sticker streaks when removing dust. A headlight on my head in a dimly lit garage worked great to see any dust. Very happy with this product! Have any problems, Amazon free returns.

I went with the same one, third of the cost and has worked great for me. End of the day it protects my screen and I can always switch it out later. I don’t even notice I have a protector on anymore.
