I think it was coincidence, i didn't get an update for over a year and then got 3 back-to-back, i then noticed my truck was no longer showing under recall for the reverse cam thing. I'd bet that's what your updates were.

Agreed, I was getting them like clockwork for years and the WiFi was always on.
