We also have a 2020 Explorer. I bet the transmission cooler cracked while you were driving, lost a bunch of fluid causing the trans to act up. I was lucky and caught ours leaking in the driveway. There was a design issue on the early ones on how the trans cooler was mounted or some bracket causing it to crack (or something like that). There is an updated part / design out for them now.

Good luck, hopefully it doesn’t need a new trans.
I checked for a leak as soon as I got home. There is a TSB about a retainer clip backing off causing a similar situation. My manager had the same issue.

Enough of the digression, back to F150's!

I have been looking at truck transports on the way to the house. Nothing seen yet.

Pictures of your set up? Maybe some parts? I have selected a few things, but are interested in what is working.
Right now I just have heavy duty extension cords that I ran into the house, then added a surge protector power strip. Doesn't seem to be drawing a lot of power. I've used very little gas, and the truck isn't kicking over to gas hardly at all. I do want to install one of those transfer switches I keep reading about. I'll have an electrician do that.

I have a 220/240 to dual 120 in my shopping cart that I have been considering to try and use the 30 amp plug.

My original thought was to have a 220 plug installed to my existing transfer switch, but due to the neutral bonding, it will not work.

I am sure there is a thread around here, but keep us posted on how your current setup handles the load.

I read some where on the forums that you have to remove the neutral wire for the truck power to work. Here is one thread I found.

Let's add another insult to the lists of faults by Ford and their dealers. I gave the BlueBoost a quick cleaning the other day to take a couple of quick pictures for y'all and so my friends could see what a beautiful truck it is. I didn't detail it or anything, just a quick spritz. Fast forward to yesterday. My PPF guy calls exasperated. He's a wonderful fella and has a little bit of an accent. He's telling me he can't continue work on my truck until I come to the shop see what he has found. I walk in and the truck looks out of this world. I'm trying to figure out what he's talking about. He has polished the entire front end and removed all the water spots but has found two vertical dents and scratches in the lower passenger side fender. These dents had been accompanied by big surface scratches all over that he had successfully buffed out. These dents and scratches are side-by-side, 4 or 5 inches long and dented in enough that you can feel them. He then shows me all the other scratches and mars that are on my truck. I get my truck from his shop and get on down to the dealership. Where my salesman "can't feel the dents". I tell him that he's not being serious and take me to the person I can talk to. I ask him why all of this wasn't found in PDI? I will have the date for a service appointment and consultation with the collision department tomorrow.

I can't figure out how that many scratches can get on a truck that has spent most of it's life in a parking lot. I would show pictures but they wouldn't photograph. My technology isn't good enough and you just see reflections of my beautiful hands.
I am hopefully optimistic right now. BlueBoost has an appointment at the dealership Monday for examination by Service, Collision and Ford themselves (yes Big Ford). A Ford rep will be there Monday and will look at my truck for damage and quality issues. My salesman tried to work for the dealership with the denials of all the scratches and dents, but came around after I called him out. He convinced them to examine my truck and the agreed. Collision should have a sun light with them to see all the damage. Fingers crossed they will fix it.

Oh and another thing. I've had an attitude readjustment. My truck is FABULOUS!! I love driving mine around town. I thought for sure Antimatter Blue was going to suck. It doesn't. The sun shines here too much for AMB to suck. The metallic glows under the Colorado sun. I've gotten a compliment about the paint. The seats are very comfy. I wish they had the massagers, but they can be added apparently. I've played with the B&O enough to get it to sound fairly good. My hearing ain't what it used to be I guess. I'm holding off on the Focal and Mosconi for now. LOL. Catch y'all later.

FYI....there are a lot of stories of trucks getting damaged in transit; some so much so that the trucks couldn't be delivered and buyers had to wait for a new truck to be built. From what I've read, rail transit seems to be a bigger contributor but anytime a vehicle has to take a long ride there are opportunities for damage to occur.

It blows my mind how these trucks are treated in transit. Completely unacceptable to me that transit damage is so common. My truck got beat up pretty bad, it needed a new front bumper, new front emblem and scratches on the hood fixed.

My truck went from train to convoy truck. Driver of the truck when it was delivered “oh I never noticed the damage.” Unreal. People just don’t care.

These are not some $20 amazon package being tossed on your front porch…

I think some people now just think "Insurance will take care of it", not realizing that every time insurance "takes care of it" we all pay for it in terms of higher premiums.

Still in Vegas but leaving tomorrow. Just a heads up the truck. Ran flawlessly and was extremely comfortable. Used the adaptive cruise 90% of the drive. Very cool. Really frees up the mind so it’s less wear and tear on the long drive(9 hours). Got really good gas mileage. Was averaging 22 mpg till we hit the pass to go towards Vegas. Ended up with 20.2 mpg for the whole drive. So far loving it!

It is interesting on the gauges, i now have turbo boost as one of the gauges and when the motor goes into boost the mileage suffers...

Hi my name is Jeff and I love turbos. Woooooooo!!

I'm glad I haven't gotten to adding the turbo gauge yet. I have very little self control with the throttle. I can't wait to get a Roush air box. I love the sound BB makes.

Yes I added the turbo boost gauge right away. It doesn’t kick in very much when I’m just normal driving. It does use quite a bit of gas when it does kick in

West Austin is full of hills so turbos kick in a lot here. My 2013 Ecoboost mainlined gas whenever the turbos kicked in. Powerboost is a little better, but it is still punitive.

I was driving home the other night with a wicked strong tail wind and got 40 mpg but in a headwind the mileage can suffer just as bad. The cold hurts mileage as well , it was -35c here last week and the mileage tanked.

Lol turbos could be the best think ever invented…, but they love gas
